John Tolva is the City of Chicago's Chief Technology Officer, and the former Senior Program Manager for Cultural Strategy and Programs at IBM. He holds a Masters in Information Design and Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in English Literature from Washington University. In 2006, Crain recognized him as one of the "40 under 40." Since 2004, He's been blogging about technology, innovation, and Chicago at www.ascentstage.com.
