Since 1999 he has been working for “Polityka”, a major Polish weekly magazine; he also writes for several other titles. His main interests are processes of modernization and postmodernization, diffusion of culture and innovations, communication and influence of media on culture, and social and political actions. He's an author of several books, the director of the Center for Future Studies at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw and a teacher at the Center for Social Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
