IB5k has been working with the US Congress to improve on body-wide, infrastructural level, how the general public communicate with their elected leaders. Beckmann has won a Peabody and an Emmy award for his work at ABC News and Current TV. A Toledo, Ohio native, he holds a masters in journalism from Northwestern, and is all but dissertation, on his PHD in Media Philosophy from the European Graduate school. He presently lives in San Francisco & Brooklyn. en
