Crowdfunding Creative Projects

Recently, Kickstarter, the online hub for crowdfunding creative projects, hit a milestone: two popular proposals each managed to raise $1 million in just one day. More than $125 million dollars have been and more than 15,000 projects successfully funded projects since Kickstarter's founding in 2008. Nearly half of all projects listed on the site hit their funding goals. And the source of all this money is the public, which gives to support people's passions, crazy ideas or great inventions. What are some of the best ways to use Kickstarter to raise money for social good? Just ask the Occupy Wall Street Journal project, which raised more than $75,000 via Kickstarter.
